About our Occupational Health Case Manager
Susan Alatorre, our RN Case Manager, works closely with employers, managed care organizations (MCO) and/or third party administrators (TPA) and the Bureau of Worker's Compensation to ensure that an injured employee receives the best treatment available, potentially minimizing light duty or lost time days.
Susan provides statistical data to the employer through quarterly and end of year Injury Trend Analysis Report. These reports categorize the injury by diagnosis (type of injury,) number of injuries, number of visits per injury, number of light duty and lost days, as well as the duration of each injury case.
Susan has extensive experience in Occupational Health Nursing. She has been with Mercy Health for the past 10 years, previously serving as Occupational Health Nurse, Clinical Coordinator of our Springdale location, and most recently as our RN Case Manager. She has attended numerous seminars for Occupational Safety and Workers Compensation.
