Joe Wilkerson
Director of Tennis


Joe has been with the HealthPlex for eight years. He has 22 years of playing experience and 15 years of teaching experience. Joe played number one on his high school tennis team and was a doubles finalist for the Virginia State High School Championships. Joe played tennis at Methodist University where he also helped coach the women’s tennis team. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Professional Tennis Management. Joe is a USPTA P1 professional and a certified wheelchair instructor. He has taught and managed programs in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. Joe is the former Head Tennis Coach at Saint Ursula Academy and a four time Coach of the Year. He is currently on the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Associations Management Board.

Andrew Conley
Junior Tennis Coordinator/ Tennis Professional


Andrew comes to us from Daytona, Florida. In his four years of high school tennis, he played the number one position qualifying for state all four years and placing third two different times. He played tennis at Gardner-Webb University for two seasons before transferring to Virginia Intermont College. Andrew has ten years of teaching experience at various clubs, including the University of Virginia Tennis Academy and The Palm Coast Players Club. Andrew is a USPTA certified professional and a USTA High Performance Coach. He has been with the HealthPlex for four years and is our junior tennis coordinator.

Kelley Peter
Tennis Professional


Kelley has 30 years teaching experience and 40 years playing experience. He has a Masters in Education from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor in Psychology from Vanderbilt University. He has taught at the HealthPlex for the past 10 years. Before teaching at Mercy, Kelley was at Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club for three years, and prior to that he taught full time at the Court Yard in West Chester. Kelley has also worked at the Wetherington Country Club and the Waynesborough Country Club in Philadelphia. Kelley is our senior pro on staff and the former Girls Varsity Tennis Coach for Turpin High School.

David Beck
Tennis Professional


David comes to us from Fredericksburg, Virginia where he coached high school tennis. He is a USPTA certified professional and has been teaching tennis for more than 13 years. David spent two years at Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt in Austria , Europe ’s #1 rated tennis camp. In addition, he has worked at resorts in Switzerland , Italy , Florida and the Caribbean . David played both number one singles and doubles for his high school team and was part of the first doubles team in school history to win a district championship and advance to the state tournament. David received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Miami University and a Master of Arts in History from George Mason University . David joined the HealthPlex Team in August 2011.

Keri Preng
Tennis Professional


Keri is a certified USPTA P1 professional. She has taught and managed at several prominent tennis facilities in the Dallas/Ft. Worth and Cincinnati areas. Keri earned a full scholarship and played Division 1 Tennis at Florida State University. She held the #1 Texas Women’s Doubles and the #2 Texas Women’s Singles ranking in 1998. In addition, she won the USTA National Women’s 5.0 Doubles Championship for Texas in 2001. Keri has won the Cincinnati MET Doubles Championship with partner Angela Wilson in 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2008. Other career highlights include being named the 2006 USPTA Ohio Professional of the Year and being a USPTA tester for the Midwest. Keri was also the National Junior Wheelchair Team coach and is currently coaching at Summit Country Day.

Linda Stafford
Tennis Professional


Linda Stafford is originally form Canada where she was ranked in the top 20 in both singles and doubles for girls 18’s. Linda was also ranked #1 in Trinidad and Tobago as a junior for ages 10-16. While in Trinidad and Tobago she was a member of the country’s National team. Linda played tennis at the University of Central Florida and Ferris State University . She Graduated from Ferris Sate University with a B.Sc. in Business Marketing, with an emphasis of Specialization in Professional Tennis Management. Linda is certified by both the PTR and USPTA as a tennis professional and has been teaching tennis for more than 15 years. She is also a certified racquet technician.

TJ Scheve
Tennis Professional


TJ is a native Cincinnatian, a graduate of St. Xavier High School, and an Anderson Township resident.  He comes to us from Coldstream Country Club, bringing more than 20 years of tennis teaching experience with him to the HealthPlex.  TJ has spent time at Western, Eastern, and Camargo Racquet Clubs, and is thrilled to be back to the HealthPlex after a 7 year hiatus.  He has coached high school teams at Mother of Mercy, St. Xavier, and Indian Hill High Schools, where he coached many State qualifiers, and State champions. TJ enjoys working with players at all ages and levels of the game and he is a USPTA certified professional.

Jessica Clark
Tennis Professional


Jessica is a recent graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, majoring in Professional Tennis Management (PTM). In 2010, Jessica was the “PTM New Student of the Year.”  Jessica is also PTR certified in Junior Development and has a vast knowledge of teaching 10 & under tennis.  Jessica has been trained in beginning and advanced teaching techniques, tournament administration, clay court maintenance and racquet stringing.   Jessica has worked at the Ferris State Tennis Camps and taught middle school and high school aged players.  In 2011, Jessica worked in Auburndale, FL teaching at The Auburndale Tennis Facility. Jessica is a USPTA Certified Pro.

Aaron Howell
Tennis Professional


Aaron started playing tennis here at the HealthPlex as a junior tennis player. He is a Cincinnati native and played number one on the Batavia High School tennis team. Aaron played college tennis at the University of the Cumberlands. Aaron graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a degree in Education and has been a member of our team since May 2008.
